Description:
Under general supervision, performs or assists with all phases of the rigging up and down of Nitrogen service line equipment on work locations for the purpose of providing support and gas lift well intervention solutions. Performs low and intermediate pressure nitrogen projects. Performs pre job equipment inspections and complete necessary paperwork. Loads nitrogen equipment on trucks at the service center. Ensures all nitrogen equipment arrives on location and visually inspect for damage. Rigs up / down, function tests, pressure tests, and operates equipment on location. Communicates project objectives to nitrogen personnel on location. Performs post and pre job equipment inspections for the next job. Maintains general housekeeping responsibilities on location. Drives a truck or other assigned equipment as required. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Skills typically acquired through completion of high school or similar education and a minimum of 1 year experience as an Svc Operator-Nitrogen, I. Must have successfully passed company tests or met task guideline requirements. Ability to operate PSL equipment (i.e. pumps, tanks, unipro II) is required. Must have successfully complete Essential Nitrogen and Nitrogen Operator training courses. Must have completed the nitrogen mentor objective checklist for Operator Assistant/Service Operator. Knowledge of Halliburton Management System (HMS) processes and responsibilities and Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) guidelines. Given the nature of oil field service work, must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary. The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Licensure to drive commercial vehicles may be required. Proficient operating 3 pumpers and transports. Must complete all iLearn courses for position and have completed driver evaluation (SEAL-Canada) for tractor trailer units if employed in Canada. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes.
