USGP is seeking a Referral Clerk at Camp Lejeune.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Personnel shall participate in the Referral Management Program as stated in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), ensuring compliance with applicable processes, procedures, process timing parameters and other published guidelines.
  • Personnel shall identify and track approximately 3,500 eligible beneficiaries each month, who have been authorized to receive specialty care outside the medical capabilities of the MTF. The contractor shall ensure accurate collection and input of patient care data in approved databases, electronic medical records and reports.
  • Personnel shall process approximately 300 Right of First Refusal (ROFR’s)network referrals each month following Referral Management SOP guidelines including provider consultation into CHCS.
  • A fully qualified typist with a minimum of 50 WPM General medical ethics, telephone etiquette, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • General office administrative and clerical skills to perform receptionist duties and answer telephones.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Education. High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency.
  • Completion of an Administrative Assistant program is desired.
  • Experience. At least 6 months of experience in medical office setting.
  • Work Environment/Physical Requirements. The work is primarily sedentary. However, there may be some physical demands. Requirements include prolonged walking, standing, sitting or bending.
