U.S. Got People is searching for a dedicated professional for work as a Psychiatric Technician . To work as a contractor position in the Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, NC.

- Will work 5, 8hrs shifts a week. Monday – Friday excluding federal holidays
- Schedule start times will be determined
Education Qualifications:
- Degree/Education: Possess current certification as a Psychiatric Technician by the American Association of Psychiatric Technicians OR possess evidence of completion of Military Psychiatric Technician Training or Equivalent OR possess an Associate of Arts degree in a behavioral science.
Experience and Other Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of one year experience as a Psychiatric Technician within the last three years.
- Possess a Basic Life Support certification through American Red Cross or Americans\ Heart Association.
Job duties may include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrate sound psychiatric theoretical and practical approaches in providing patient care.
- Demonstrate a sound understanding and assists in the management of a therapeutic milieu: providing structure, social support, patient education, safety and social skills training.
- Monitor, escort and/or act as a therapeutic participant in patient activities in the outpatient psychiatric clinic and outpatient programs.

Pay: $21.50 – $23.00 per hour
