U.S. Got People is searching for a Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner to work Full-Time at Brooke Army Medical Center working directly with our active duty service members in Joint Base San Antonio!

Qualifications of Nurse Practitioner

• Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner program
• BLS and ACLS
• Must have or obtain a current, valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number
• Minimum of 1 year experaince in internal medical setting (post graduation)
• Shall have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine

Job duties for Nurse Practitioner may include but are not limited to:

• Provide a full range of outcome-based nurse practitioner services in accordance with privileges granted
• Provide immunizations
• Diagnose treat and counsel patients
• Technically direct and provide care for various diseases and/or types of injuries (acute, chronic, minor trauma)
• Recognize emergency conditions for proper treatment
• Direct and teach staff
• Provide educational lectures
• Train in-service staff members
• Promote preventative care and health maintenance
• Annual physicals
• Teach patients and family member’s healthy regimens and methods to achieve wellness
