Medical Assistant

USGP has a rewarding opportunity for Medical Assistants at Madigan Army Medical Center. The work to be performed will be at Madigan Enhanced COVID Screening and Testing site.

There are 2 shifts available, 5:45 am – 2:15 pm and 9:45 am – 6:15 pm every day of the week.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Communicate with all patients to ensure all demographic data is accurate.
• Provide documentation to the patient on how to find their results.
• Build all specimen collection packets with the correct documentation.
• Coordinate traffic to reduce patient wait times.
• Request office supplies and specimen collection supplies.
• Communicate over the phone to leadership on various needs.

• Graduate from a Medical Assistant training program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists or a formal medical service training program of the United States Armed Forces and/or program.
• Basic Life Support through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• One year of experience as a Medical Assistant after graduation.
• Provide proof of 2 dose COVID vaccine or provide weekly negative test. Masks are required while working onsite.
